About Us
Over the last 25 years, Play It Again Sports has come to be known as THE neighborhood sporting goods store for value and exceptional customer service. We believe Play It Again Sports is the preferred store of value for families with growing kids because we buy, trade and sell quality used and new sports items of all types which means great gear at great prices! We make it possible for many kids to participate in sports that otherwise may not be able to afford it.
Each store is locally owned and operated which means better value & service. Yet, as a nationwide chain, we leverage tremendous buying power to achieve the most competitive prices. The owners of the Castle Rock location are Steve and Patti Norbut. They have been residents of Castle Rock for 4 years and their children attend Douglas County schools. Patti worked many years as a human resource director running numerous internship programs for high school and college students. Steve was the President of the Oldsmobile Scramble and a Sports Event Services company for General Motors.
